AEI Mother/Daughter Boards
The redesigned Mother/Daughter Boards are direct plug-in
replacements for your existing director, rectifier, and inverter
boards. This redesign not only replaced the obsolete HTL
integrated circuits (IC’s) with CMOS IC’s but also upgraded the
original analog rectifier controller to a totally new digital
design. CMOS is now the industry standard for reliable
operation in the electrically noisy environment of industrial
induction heating applications. This eliminates adjustments
such as line balancing and from worry about phasing on too
far and having to limit the maximum output voltage of the DC.
The new circuit has none of these adjustments. In total these
new designed boards have 25% less adjustments and contain
only about 50% of the components that the original boards
had. This makes it much easier to set up and troubleshoot this
system.
